Apprentices 2017

Laura Flanagan is currently attending Dean College and working toward her BA in Dance, with a concentration in Performance.  She has had the opportunity to work alongside William Evans and perform at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in 2016, as well as in the Nationally broadcasted New England Patriots Home Opener Show at Gillette Stadium in 2015.

Jessie Jeanne: "Laura, you've worked with me in class at Dean College, how did that experience prepare you for working in the context of JJ&D company rehearsal?  How were you prepared in mind and body?"

Laura: "I was able to connect the ideas we worked on in class with the movement in the piece in order to fully understand and develop the movement.  My body was prepared for the type of movement given and with quick notes I was able to utilize the techniques we developed in class."

Caitlin Peeler's interest in dance sparked after taking her first hip hop class in Dalton, MA at age 13 and has since grown into her greatest passion. She is currently finishing up her last semester at Dean College where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Minor in Technical Theatre. She is now dancing with Unyted Stylz Productions’ U.S. Crew, Evolve Dynamicz, and recently has an apprenticeship with Jessie Jeanne and Dancers!
