Our recent trip to Chisenhale Dance Space in London with The Boston Touring Group was such a whirlwind experience, and happened so fast, that it feels right to take a moment to acknowledge just how awesome it was. Why dance?
Jessie Jeanne Stinnett and Henoch Spinola (two members of JJ&D) recently participated in a scientific study at Goldsmith's University and Royal Holloway in London. Researchers are learning more about neuro-aesthetics and why we like watching dance. Goldsmiths Psychology's Guido Orgs explores: "When we dance and move in synchrony with other people, it creates bonding and affiliation." "We like watching dance because we like seeing groups of people cooperating with each other."

World-famous choreographer in Boston
World-famous Israeli choreographer Itzik Galili comes to Boston in a celebration of contemporary dance. Mr Galili's presence is the result of a cooperative effort between Boston Center for the Arts Martha's Salon, Harvard University's Movement Lab, Debra Cash, Ilya Vidrin, and Jessie Jeanne Stinnett.
