Jessie Jeanne & Dancers (JJ&D) will participate in a two-week residency at 3s Art Space, during which time JJ&D will hold its first Summer Immersion Project.
Students will join the main company in daily classes, rehearsals, and afternoon showings that will be open to the public. This residency's focus will be on process, and inviting the public into the creative process. Rather than having a public performance at the end of the residency, JJ&D will open its doors to welcome the public into rehearsals from 12-3pm. This model of practice allows audience to gain a deeper sense of what goes into creating performance work.
